Admittedly, my last two sermons were not the type that would make for the most helpful sort of steady diet. Not (I trust) because they were unbiblical, but because they were so overloaded with biblical references that it would understandably be difficult for even the most eager and engaged hearts to continue to track with that sort of preaching on a week-after-week basis. I hope this sampling of verses will aid us all in deeper meditation on the subjects that we considered together during corporate worship.

“Salvation” is being used in the classic three-fold sense: justification, sanctification, and glorification.
