Along with Nathan Sawyer, his dad, Roger, and my father in the faith—who also happens to be my father-in-law, I am looking forward to attending this year’s Desiring God Conference for Pastors. The theme will “The Pastor as Father and Son.” We will be considering our position as “sons of God,” as “spiritual fathers to God’s people”, and of course, as earthly fathers to our own families.
On Monday evening we will also have the joy of meeting with fellow TCT church planters and learning updates and prayer needs. Always a blessing to be with these brothers!
I relish opportunities to get away with my father-in-law and look forward to this fruitful time together in worship through God’s Word. Thank you for praying for each of us as we’re away.
