Yes, that dark Friday was good. Through the greatest possible evil (Christ’s crucifixion), God brought about the greatest possible good (God glorified through sinners being reconciled to Himself)!
Today (Friday) would be a great day to go to the gospels and read the crucifixion accounts. Then, let them land until Sunday morning…then, early Sunday morning, read the resurrection accounts. Then, come to church and worship with other believers in light of His risen reality!
