The Centrality of Jesus

There are at least seven obvious ways that Jesus Christ should be demonstrated as the central Figure in the life of His church. Col. 1:18.

  1. Prayer—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in dependence upon God
  2. Preaching—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in expository exultation
  3. Worship—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in our affections
  4. Teaching—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in biblical maturity
  5. Fellowship—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in biblical community
  6. Evangelism—That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in gospel witness
  7. Missions–That demonstrates the centrality of Jesus in church reproduction

It is very refreshing to see that you have this Christ centered focus it seems more and more that churches are getting focused on self help and social service type efforts often leaving out the gospel and substituting a “God bless you” like they sneezed or something. Without the Gospel front and center the message is empty… Keep Blazin my Brother
